Following our presentation of the conceptual architecture, we used Understand to dive into the source code and develop a concrete architecture of Chrome.

Report

Using the feedback we recieved during our presentation we corrected and expanded our findings, and have compiled a more in-depth report.

Why is this
like this

This website is an exsercise in brutalist design. The second assignment asked us to document how Google Chrome is built today. We decided that the website should reflect the current moment through utilizing the most modern web trends, in this case Brutalism.

Brutalism is real, messy, and hard to look at. As we looked further into the concrete architecture of Google Chrome, we found these adjectives suitable to also describe Chrome's implementation.
